Hookmark 6.2 Release Notes and Download link

Hookmark Version 6.2 (6017; Integration v. 327) is now available for download. It was built on 2024-05-27.

  • IMPROVED: Even when No linkable item found in < App> is presented, the gear button is now shown.
  • IMPROVED: ^G in Bookmarks window now shows Gear button menu.
  • IMPROVED: Renamed Favorite Apps preferences tab to “Email”
  • IMPROVED: Renamed Preferences window and menu item to Settings.
  • IMPROVED: Copy All Hooked Links no longer uses a hard-coded date format; the date in this report now uses the system-defined date format
  • IMPROVED: In foreground mode, invoking the context window (^H) no longer causes Hookmark’s menu bar to appear. That makes it possible to use Hookmark with UI-scripted apps in foreground mode.
  • FIXED a memory management issue that occurred when sync is enabled.
  • FIXED an issue in which unrecognized characters would appear in the keyboard Shortcuts pane in Hookmark’s Preferences window
  • FIXED an issue with Copy link that occurred when renaming a file stored in the cloud.
  • FIXED: When adding a bookmark while the Bookmarks window was open, sometimes the bookmark would not immediately appear in that window.
  • Fixed several other minor issues.

New and improved software integrations

  • New: Hookmark now supports Everlog Journal but with UI-scripting.
  • NEW: Support Tana but with UI-scripting.
  • NEW: Support for JetBrains GoLand.
  • IMPROVED: Added Copy Selection and Link to Bike integration.
  • IMPROVED: Hook to New is now supported in Xcode 15.
  • IMPROVED: In OmniFocus, when you select an OmniFocus tag, Hook’s Copy Link constructs an omnifocus:///TASK not an omnifocus:///TAG URL
  • FIXED: An issue that prevented Reveal File in Finder from working in DEVONthink
  • IMPROVED Missive integration.

Eligibility for updates

Hookmark software updates are free to any Hookmark CogSci Apps customer with a Hookmark Updates license that was valid at the time the update was released. Hookmark Pro and Hookmark Standard each come with one year of free access to software updates.

If your Hookmark Updates license has expired and you apply this update, please note that Hookmark will revert to Basic mode until you purchase and apply an Updates license. However, you can instead revert to a previous version of Hookmark that was released during your Updates License period. Upgrading from Standard to Pro includes an additional 12-month Updates license.
