Hookmark 7.0.2 Release Notes

Hookmark Version 7.0.2 (6549; Integration v. 407) is now available for download.

  • IMPROVED This release works around an issue that caused some Hookmark installations to generate excessive network traffic when checking software updates.

Therefore PLEASE UPDATE TO THIS OR A NEWER VERSION OF HOOKMARK

Updating to 7.0.2:

  • Improves performance if you are affected
  • Reduces unnecessary network activity
  • Helps stabilize service for all users
  • Brings you up to date with the latest bug fixes and features.

Even if you haven’t noticed an issue, updating now helps the entire Hookmark community. To prevent the update issue you can also disable automatic updates in the Updates Settings tab.

  • FIXED a bug that prevented some users from typing “a” when the global “Copy Universal Link” shortcut was enabled.

Please update ASAP to Hookmark 7.0.2. It works around a Sparkle issue that can cause some Hookmark installations to generate excessive network traffic by checking for updates too frequently.
