Ever since macOS 14 (Ventura) there’s been a bug in Apple Mail. When you paste a single hyperlink in Apple Mail, only the URL of the link will appear, not its name. Yet if you copy and paste two links, or a link and some text, Apple Mail treats the links properly. We have created a special command to get around the single-link pasting problem. It is called: Copy Link for Apple Mail
, and it lives in the Context Window’s Advanced menu of the Action ☰ button:
If you use this command wherever you would normally use Copy Link
, then you will be able to paste the link in Apple Mail and get a well formed link.
